A surprising Manzoni Bianco in every sense, thanks to the Costalunga vineyard, located on a high hill completely exposed to the sun and aided by the soil rich in calcareous clay and marl.
The location to the north towards the slopes of the Prealps contributes to significant temperature variations, giving Manzoni Bianco a strong aromatic concentration on the skins, which is naturally transmitted to the wine.
A few years of bottle aging will enhance it.
The care we put into the vineyard is meticulous: we reduce the use of machinery and pesticides to a minimum, preferring manual work that respects the balance of the soil and favors the presence of wild microfauna.
In the cellar, once the grapes have been pressed, all the marc is recovered to be transformed into compost, which will become a beneficial organic biofertilizer for our vineyards.
The harvest is completely manual, ensuring that each bunch arrives at the cellar intact, ready for a delicate pressing that preserves the purity of the must.
Intense and brilliant straw color, the fluid concentration can be felt in the glass.
Refined citrus sensations permeate the nose, outlining scents of lavender, thyme and sage.
Over time it reveals all its aromatic breadth with hints of iodine, minerals and hydrocarbons.
On the palate it has an excellent structure, rich, soft, intense and well balanced by a good fresh-savoury shoulder.
Long finish with mineral tones.
