The product briefly:
Muratori is much more than a wine cellar: it is a true story of passion and dedication that has its roots in Villa Crespia, in the heart of Franciacorta, a physical place that represents the beating heart of our company.
Our adventure began over twenty years ago, when we decided to transform our family passion into an entrepreneurial reality strongly anchored in the Franciacorta area.
“Our path has been marked by a constant search for quality, tradition and innovation. “
We made a fundamental choice between 1999 and 2002, carefully deciding where to plant our vineyards to best represent the pedo-climatic variety of Franciacorta. Our vineyards, located in different areas, extend up to an altitude of 350 meters above sea level, with exposure also towards the north, towards the picturesque Lake Iseo. This choice allows us to grow grapes with unique characteristics, reflecting the complexity of the Franciacorta landscape.
We have selected the lands in which to plant our vineyards scrupulously, representing all six vocational units of Franciacorta: Depositi Fini, Fluvio Glaciale, Colluvi Distali, Morenico Profondo, Colluvi Gradonati and Morenico Sottile. This diversification is a reflection of our constant search for variety and authenticity, which constitutes a key element in our mission to produce excellent Franciacorta.
Our cellar is a harmonious synthesis between tradition and modernity, with a careful eye on environmental sustainability. We manage our vineyards organically and are proudly self-sufficient from an energy point of view thanks to an innovative agricultural photovoltaic system that extends over the vineyards themselves.
Starting from the 2020 harvest, we are honored to be able to count on the consultancy of the renowned Doctor Riccardo Cotarella, a leading figure in the world of oenology. Doctor Cotarella and his team of expert collaborators share with us the passion for Franciacorta and the love for its grapes, helping to bring the quality of our wines to new levels of excellence.
