The product briefly:
Vitigno: 30% Cabernet sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 40% Recantina.
Production area: Colli di Castelcucco, Monfumo, Asolo.
Land characteristics: Asolani hills, altitude 200-250 meters/sm, south-east exposure, slightly calcareous clay soil, non-weeded vineyards.
Color: intense red with purple reflections. Notes of cherry, plum, berries and violet.
Serving temperature: 16-18 C°
Alcohol content: 13.00%
Vinification: traditional method with maceration on the skins for at least 15 days with double daily pumping over at the end of fermentation, drawing off with passage into oak (50%) and steel (50%) barrels and final cut after 12 months.
Yield per hectare: 80 quintals/hectare
Harvest period: Totally manual harvest in the second ten days of October
Pairings: Ideal for second courses based on red meat and game.
