The product briefly:
Vitigno: 100% Merlot
Production area: Colli di Asolo and Castelcucco in the province of Treviso
Land characteristics: Asolani hills, altitude 200-250 meters/sm, south-east exposure, slightly calcareous clay soil, non-weeded vineyards.
Color: Strong pink with a very light orange note. Fruity, with notes of pomegranate and redcurrant. Savory, dry, with good structure and persistence.
Serving temperature: 6-8C°
Alcohol content: 12.00%
Vinification: soft pressing, white vinification at a controlled temperature, bottling 15 months after the harvest, a further 5 months of rest in the bottle.
Yield per hectare: 80 quintals/hectare
Harvest period: Totally manual harvest in the first ten days of October.
Pairings: Ideal for appetizers based on sausages and cheeses, excellent with omelettes and vegetable-based first courses.
